Track your coins and buy more in Circin
Where Circin coins come from, what they are spent on, how to read your coin history, and how the Coin Store purchase works.
Updated
Coins are the currency of the practice side of Circin. Your balance sits in the strip at the top of Home, and as Coins : {n} in the app bar while you play.
What earns and what spends coins?
You earn coins from correct answers, from scratching reward cards, from referring a friend, and from buying them. You spend them on lifelines and word hints, on unlocking a premium category, on reviewing your answers after a quiz, and on the entry fee for a battle or a contest.
How do I see my coin history?
- Tap your avatar in the top right to open your profile, then Coin History.
- The list loads fifteen rows at a time and fetches more as you scroll.
- Each row names what the coins were for — Played Battle, Played Group Battle, Played Contest, Review Answer, Reward By Scratching Card, Unlocked with a category name — with the date beneath and the amount on the right.
- Earned amounts are green with a leading +; spent amounts are red.
- Pull down to refresh.
If you have never earned or spent a coin this screen is blank — there is no "nothing here yet" message. An empty list is not a failure.

How do I buy coins?
The Coin Store has no row in your profile. You reach it from the "Not enough coins" dialog — the one you get when you try to unlock a category, review answers or enter a battle without the balance for it — and from the battle create and join screens.
- Tap BUY COINS. The "Coin Store" opens as a grid of coin packs, each with its description, title and store price.
- Tap a pack. Your phone's App Store or Play Store purchase sheet takes over.
- While it completes, Circin shows "Securing your purchase." and "Please stay on this screen for a smooth transaction." The back button is disabled — do not leave.
- On success the pack is confirmed as bought and the coins arrive from the server.
- On iPhone and iPad, Restore Products at the bottom recovers earlier purchases.
If the store cannot be reached you get "In-app purchase is not available" and a retry.
Rules and gotchas
- Circin shows no adverts at all, so watching one is never a way to earn coins.
- A Remove Ads product may still be listed in the Coin Store. Because Circin shows no adverts, it removes nothing.
