Take a Session Quiz in Circin
Enter a teacher's Session Quiz in Circin, answer against the timer, and submit — and know why leaving the app mid-quiz submits it for you.

A Session Quiz is the quiz your teacher attaches to a lesson. It is timed, it is taken inside Circin, and leaving the app while it is running submits it, so start one when you have a clear few minutes.
How do I get in?
- Open the quiz from Home → "For you" → Take, from Subjects → a subject → Sessions → "Enter Session Quiz", or from Home → "Play & compete" → Session Quiz.
- The "Session Quiz" list has two tabs, Available and Completed. Available quizzes are grouped under Today, Upcoming and Missed, each card showing the title, date and question count.
- Tap a quiz. The "Enter Session Quiz" sheet opens.
- If the quiz was assigned to your class there is nothing to type. Otherwise enter the 4-digit code your teacher read out, under "Please enter the exam key".
- Read the "Session Quiz Rules" box, tick "I agree with session quiz rules" and tap Submit.
How do I answer and submit?
- A countdown timer sits in the app bar. One question fills the screen — swipe, or use ‹ and ›, to move between them.
- Tap the ^ button in the centre for every question at a glance:
Total Questions : {n}, groups like2 Mark (10)with numbered tiles, and an Attempted / Un-Attempted legend. Tap a number to jump to it. - Tap Submit in that sheet when you are done. Circin scores the attempt and shows your result.
Rules and gotchas
- Leaving Circin submits your attempt. Switch apps or lock the phone for longer than the few seconds your school allows and the quiz is submitted as it stands, with "You left the exam".
- The timer running out submits it too. Your phone will not sleep while you are in a quiz.
- Tapping back asks "Are you sure you want to quit the quiz?" — Yes submits what you have.
- Changing an answer is allowed only if your teacher enabled it, and nothing is marked right or wrong while you are still in the quiz.
- On iPhone, screenshots are recorded against the attempt and screen recording blanks the screen.
- A Missed quiz that is still listed can still be taken. Without the tick you get "Please accept exam rules"; with the wrong code, "Please enter valid exam key".
