Unlock a premium quiz category with coins in Circin
Categories with a padlock badge cost coins once. Pay from the unlock dialog and that category stays open for good.

Some quiz categories carry a padlock badge. They cost coins, you pay once, and the category then behaves like any other.
How do I unlock one?
- Tap the padlocked category. A dialog opens, headed Unlock followed by the category name, with the line "Double your Coins and achieve a higher Score."
- Tap Use {n} Coins. Close backs out and charges nothing.
- After a moment the dialog closes and a message confirms Unlocked followed by the category name. The padlock is gone and the category opens normally.
What if I do not have enough coins?
You get the "Not enough coins" dialog instead, with Close and BUY COINS. Nothing is charged and the category stays locked. BUY COINS opens the Coin Store — see Track your coins and buy more.
Rules and gotchas
- Unlocking is per category and it lasts. You are not asked again.
- For a premium category built with levels, the prompt appears when you tap a level chip, not when you tap the category card.
- The spend shows up in your Coin History as Unlocked with the category name.
