Track your school bus in Circin
Follow your bus stop by stop in Circin while the driver's trip is running, with scheduled and actual times and whether it is running late.
Updated
While your driver has a trip running, Circin shows where the bus has got to: a timeline of the stops with the time each one was scheduled and the time it was actually reached.
How do I open tracking?
- Tap Track on the bus row on Home, or open Quick actions → Transport → Track my bus. A "bus approaching" notification opens the same screen.
- The screen is titled "Track my bus" and shows the route name,
<vehicle name> · <vehicle number>and a Pickup or Drop pill. - A status banner reads "Bus is on time", "Running late" or "Running early", with the number of minutes appended when it is not on time.
- Below it, the stop timeline in two columns — Scheduled and Arrived. Stops already reached are green, the stop the bus is at now carries a "Bus is here" pill, and your own stop is bold with a "Your stop" pill. The school's own rows read "Departs from school" and "Arrives at school".
- The screen refreshes itself every 25 seconds. Pull down to refresh sooner.
Rules and gotchas
- There is no map. Tracking is a list of stops and times, not a moving marker.
- Tracking works only while your driver has started the trip. Outside those windows you get "No trip is running right now. Check back closer to your travel time." — that is the normal state between trips, not a fault.
- A
—in the Arrived column means the bus has not reached that stop yet. - Without an active plan: "No active transport plan to track." If your plan has ended, the Track button on Home can still appear and will land on that message.
- If tracking cannot load: "Couldn't load live tracking. Please try again." with Retry.
