Look up a published exam result in Circin Maestro
Open a published exam's results per student, expand a row for percentage and grade, read the full marksheet, and download it as a PDF.
Updated
Once an exam is published, its results are readable on the phone student by student, with a subject-wise marksheet and a downloadable PDF for the ones a parent asks about.
How do I open the results?
- Office staff: Manage → Offline Result. Teachers: Home → Workspace → Exams, then a Published exam card.
- Three pills sit under the header — Year, Exam and Class. Pick the exam you want from the Exam pill.
- The results render as one card: a header row of # and Name, then a collapsed row per student showing a serial number, the full name and the exam name.
- Tap a row to expand it. Four tiles appear — Total marks, Obtained marks, Percentage and Grade — with View details and Download beneath them.
- Tap View details for the marksheet: an Examination Summary card with the grade and percentage circles and a PASSED or FAILED pill, then a Detailed Marksheet table of Subject, Marks, Total and Grade. Marks print green at or above the subject's passing mark and red below it.
- Tap Download for the PDF. A dialog reads Downloading result, then the file opens in the device's PDF viewer.
Rules and gotchas
- The screen ignores which exam you came from: it always opens on the first exam in the list, so re-pick yours from the Exam pill.
- The Exam pill lists every completed exam, not only published ones. Choosing an unpublished one gives offline exam result not found, which is correct rather than an error.
- A student can show a red subject row and still read PASSED overall: the subject colour is computed from that subject's passing marks, the overall verdict comes from the school's rule.
- The PDF is saved inside the app's own storage and opened for you, not placed in the device's Downloads folder. There is no class-wide download in the app.
- Every download failure shows the same Something went wrong. Please try again later.
- Marks cannot be corrected here. Grading closes when the exam is published — see Enter and publish marks.
