See your allowances and deductions in Circin Maestro
Read the standing allowances and deductions attached to your salary in Circin Maestro, as percentages or fixed amounts.
Updated
Profile → Payroll → Allowances and Deductions shows what your school has attached to your salary: the items that add to it and the items that come off it.
How do I read it?
- Tap the Profile tab, then Allowances and Deductions under Payroll. The screen header reads Allowances & Deductions and loads at once — there is no filter, no month and no session year.
- Up to two cards appear: Allowances with a mint + icon, Deductions with a red −. Each header carries a small Current chip.
- Under each header, one row per item: the name your school gave it on the left, its value on the right.
- A value shows either as a percentage, such as 10.00%, or as a fixed amount to two decimals, depending on how the school set it up.
Rules and gotchas
- A card with nothing in it is not drawn at all, so if you have deductions but no allowances you see a single card. Nothing configured either side reads No allowances and deductions.
- The Current chip is decoration on both cards. It is not a period selector and there is no history here.
- These are your standing settings, not a month's payslip. For amounts actually applied, open your salary slips.
- A percentage is a percentage of basic salary, which this screen never shows — so you cannot work out the cash value from this page alone.
- If you are recorded both as a teacher and as staff, the screen shows your teacher configuration.
- Everything here is read-only; the school defines these in the admin panel under payroll settings.
